The Amon Carter Museum is home to a stunning survey of American art, from the first landscape painters of the 1830s to modern artists of the 20th century. The museum also houses founder Amon Carter's collection of works by the two greatest artists of the American West - Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell. The museum was designed by the Glass House creator Phillip Johnson, who also won the Pritzker Architecture Prize, adding to the list of outstanding architects who contributed to Fort Worth.
